He was born on 12th December 1971 in Danlasan, Kano, Nigeria.

Ibro began his academic journey at Danlasan Primary School, situated in Warawa, Kano. He later enrolled at Government Teachers College Wudil, where he pursued his education. These early educational experiences provided a solid foundation for his future endeavors in the entertainment industry.

He joined the Nigerian pr!son service in 1991 and served in the civil service. After serving in the Nigerian Pr!son Service for several years, Ibro decided to follow his passion for acting. He made a bold move and transitioned into the movie industry, where he embarked on a remarkable journey. 

In 1997, he released his debut film, “Yar Mai Ganye,” which not only marked the beginning of his acting career but also served as a significant catalyst for his rise to stardom.

Throughout his incredible career, Ibro has been a part of so many amazing films, displaying his incredible range as an actor. Some notable titles from his filmography include: [A Cuci Maza, Allo, Andamali and many more]. His talent and versatility truly shine through in each of these movies.

Ibro’s contributions to the film industry, specifically in the Hausa language genre, played a vital role in promoting and preserving the cultural heritage of northern Nigeria. His ability to connect with audiences through humor and storytelling endeared him to millions of people in the region. His films not only entertained but also served as a medium for cultural expression and unity, bringing people together through shared laughter and a celebration of their identity.

Dan ibro made significant contributions to the Nigerian film industry, particularly in the Hausa language genre. With an extensive filmography and a remarkable career spanning from 1997 until his untimely demise on 9th December 2014 at the age of 42, Ibro’s legacy lives on in the hearts of his fans.
